S. Govindarajan
Born in 1961 in Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu, S. Govindarajan completed a Diploma in Fine Arts (Painting) from the Government College of Fine Arts, Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu, in 1985. He has participated in significant exhibitions, including solo shows at the Lalit Kala Akademi Regional Centre, Chennai (1998, 2000), and Soul Spice Art Gallery (2023), as well as group exhibitions at prestigious venues such as Jehangir Art Gallery (2005), Lalit Kala Akademi,
New Delhi (2010, 2016), and the International Art Fair in Busan, Korea (2024). He has received numerous accolades, including the State Lalit Kala Akademi Award (1998), the AIFACS Award, New Delhi (2000), and the Art & Culture State Award (2017).
