"Nakshatra draws inspiration from the cosmic sound of Lord Shiva's damru, from which, according to Indian mythology, letters emerged and scattered like stars across the galaxy. Each letter, like a star, carries its own unique sound and meaning, forming constellations of visual language through calligraphy. This work explores the maternal script, a sound experienced even before birth, expressed through the interplay of form, texture, and rhythm on craft paper.”
